Oracle Application Express (Apex) 3.1 beta tryout is here

I don't pretend to be the first one reporting this news, but hopefully you'll find a useful advice in case you plan to import some of your applications into the oracle test environment.

First of all, you'll need to ask for a workspace.

Second, after a few hours (in the worst case i guess) you'll get your credentials, so don't panic if you don't receive an answer immediately.

Last but not least, once you have imported your applications, go to the application definition and replace the string "/i/" with "/i31/" in the Image Prefix attribute, otherwise you'll experience the same odd behavior i described in this OTN thread.
Many thanks to Scott Spadafore for quickly getting to the bottom of the problem and come up with a simple solution.

In case your application doesn't require authentication, you may still experience some odd graphical effects (like framed icons or unexpected image border colors) in case you do not perform this string replacement.
